While fans were already deep in comparison theories, it turns out the creators themselves spilled the tea. Here’s the full breakdown of which K-pop idols helped shape the Saja Boys one by one 👇

1. Saja Boys (The Whole Group)  :

Directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans revealed that the entire art team contributed inspiration, pulling from top-tier male groups. Among the idols that influenced the Saja Boys' overall vibe were:
TXT, BTS, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, BIGBANG, and Monsta X.
Basically, they pulled from the best of the best in K-pop for this fictional powerhouse boy group.

2. Mystery Saja :

This character doesn’t have a specific K-pop idol linked to him, but the creators shared that anime archetypes with mysterious energy inspired his aura. Think dark, broody, unpredictable — the silent slayer type.

3. Abby Saja :

Although no direct idol was named for Abby, fans immediately saw traces of ATEEZ’s San, Wonho, and Monsta X’s Shownu. With his strong presence and intense stage energy, Abby screams main dancer, main slayer.

4. Romance Saja :

According to FastPaper Magazine, this heartthrob was directly inspired by TXT’s Yeonjun, especially during his Blue Hour era. The hairstyle, visuals, and soft charisma? Total Yeonjun energy.

5. Baby Saja :

FastPaper also reported that BTS’s Jimin served as the main inspiration for Baby Saja. The cherubic visuals, the soft sweetness, the cuteness overload? Jimin-core. One of the artists even confirmed Jimin was used as concept art for this character.

6. Jinu (The Leader) :

The all-rounder leader of the Saja Boys, Jinu, was modeled after ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo and actor Nam Joo Hyuk. The visuals? Unreal. The leader energy? 100%. A face card that never declines.
